Abstract

Abstract : Nursing documentation is very important for patients, nurses and hospitals but in fact charging nursing documentation is still lacking attention that there are still many who do not complete the nursing documents, one of the factors affecting the completeness of the documentation is work motivation or willingness of nurses to carry out documentation with complete, accurate and relevant. The design in this study using a type of observational analytic study using a cross sectional design. The number of samples in this study is 74 respondents with a non-probability sampling technique mengguankan sampling with purposive sampling method. Instruments that are used in this study are questionnaires and observation sheets, and analysis of research data using the Spearman rank statistical test. The results of this study found that the average respondent has a very high motivation to work as many as 50 respondents, from the results of 40 respondents have documentation of compliance with good nursing care, while 10 respondents have documentation of compliance with nursing care is being proven by the results of statistical tests using the Spearman test rank is obtained p value of 0.002. Based on the research results, then there is a relationship between work motivation of nurses with nursing documentation compliance on hospital nurses in PHC Surabaya, should also be given a reward system for nurses to increase motivation.
