Abstract

Changes in blood sugar levels that are too low is a clinical condition caused by a decrease in blood glucose levels below the range of normal limits. Most observational studies showed that blood glucose (BG) levels decreased in patients with diabetes with the Hiperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). The blood glucose lowering has been a consistent finding in almost observational studies, a decrease in the range of 50 mg / dl. However, it remains unclear whether this reduction is causally related to hyperbaric therapy, or also the effect of treatment time with food and medicines. This study aims to determine factors that effecting changes in Blood Sugar Levels In Patients With Diabetes Mellitus HBO Therapy at Lakesla Drs. Med. Rijadi R. S., Phys Surabaya.This study used a questionnaire and measurement of blood sugar sticks. methods of thisresearch used Quasi Experimen with one group pretest­posttest design approach. The samples used 19 respondents that taken with simple random sampling techniques. Data were analyzed using the Spearman Rho test and one sample paired t­test. The result of this research showed that the average blood sugar level before HBO therapy at 219 mg/dL, and the average blood sugar levels after HBO therapy at 153 mg / dL, the results of statistical test before and after therapy showed  = 0.00 ( < 0.05) means that there is influence of HBO therapy on blood glucose levels. The statistical analyse also showed that there is significant relationship between the factors of time eating with blood sugar levels with  = 0.01, and also there is significant association between the use of the time factor insulin therapy with changes in blood glucose levels with  = 0.00 while the use of oral medications before HBO therapy also has a relationship with changes in blood sugar levels with  = 0.04, for activity factor before therapy has relationship with changes in blood sugar levels with  = 0.00. The implications of this research is completion of standard operating procedure which ensures that every patient, especially in patients with DM did not experience hypoglycemia condition during and after HBO therapy by conducting assessments of the time Last reviewed meal, the use of anti­diabetic drugs, and insulin usage Last reviewed time. it is also expected to contribute to the preparation of standards of nursing care hyperbaric nursing problems PC: Hypoglycemia. Keywords: Blood Sugar, HBO therapy, Diabetes Mellitus ========================================================= Perubahan kadar gula darah yang terlalu rendah adalah kondisi klinis yang disebabkan oleh penurunan kadar glukosa darah di bawah kisaran batas normal. Sebagian besar penelitian observasional menunjukkan bahwa kadar glukosa darah (BG) menurun pada pasien diabetes dengan Terapi Oksigen Hiperbarik (TOHB). Penurunan glukosa darah telah menjadi temuan yang konsisten dalam penelitian observasional hampir, penurunan kisaran 50 mg / dl. Namun, masih belum jelas apakah pengurangan ini terkait secara kausal dengan terapi hiperbarik, atau juga efek waktu pengobatan dengan makanan dan obat­obatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor­faktor yang mempengaruhi perubahan kadar gula darah pada pasien dengan terapi Diabetes Mellitus HBO di Lakesla Drs. Med. Rijadi R. S., Phys Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dan pengukuran gula darah. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Quasi Experimen dengan pendekatan disain pretest­posttest satu grup. Sampel menggunakan 19 responden yang diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Spearman Rho dan satu sampel uji t berpasangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata­rata kadar gula darah sebelum TOHB 219 mg / dL, dan kadar gula darah rata­rata setelah TOHB 153 mg / dL, hasil uji statistik sebelum dan sesudah terapi menunjukkan  = 0,01 (  <0,05) berarti ada pengaruh TOHB terhadap kadar glukosa darah. Analisis statistik juga menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara faktor waktu makan dengan kadar gula darah dengan  = 0.001, juga terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara penggunaan terapi insulin dengan perubahan kadar glukosa darah dengan  = 0,01. Sedangkan penggunaan obat oral sebelum TOHB juga memiliki  = 0,04, untuk faktor hubungan perubahan kadar gula darah dengan aktivitas sebelum terapi memiliki hubungan dengan perubahan kadar gula dengan  = 0,01. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah penyelesaian prosedur operasi standar yang memastikan bahwa setiap pasien, terutama pada pasien DM tidak mengalami kondisi hipoglikemia selama dan setelah TOHB dengan melakukan penilaian pada waktu terakhir diulas, penggunaan obat anti­diabetes, Dan penggunaan insulin terakhir ditinjau waktu. Hal ini juga diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada penyusunan standar keperawatan masalah keperawatan hiperbarik PC: Hipoglikemia Kata Kunci : Oksigen Hiperbarik, Diabetes Mellitus, Kadar Glukosa darah
